Welcome back! And after 65 weeks, you know the dance. Hope the sx from the triple are tolerable for you this time and all goes well through trt, And hope this is your final round and a successful one.
The social side doesn't get as much action as the main Hep C forum so you might also post your re-intro over there, too. Hope to hear more from you.
Hi. Thanks. I thought of posting on the other side, but, they're all so serious over there, thought I'd leave them alone until I have a problem! ; >
But there's lot of interesting things happening with new therapys. Sure don't want to relapse, again, but good to know there will be options down the road. How much longer will you treat?
I started in mid April, SOC before the new PI's were approved. I didn't go the trial route. So far, 4 and 12 week und, and this friday eve will be 25 of 48, so just over the hump. All good so far and have my fingers crossed. Geno 1a.
Hi! Good to see that you're feeling good after treatment. A couple of months after my 1st treatment I started feeling wonderful. Better than ever, actually.
4 week und on soc is great! I hope tx continues to be good to you. I didn't get to und until week 16, 1st time. Since my biopsy showed no damage, I waited for the PIs and have great expectations! Geno 1a, also.
Good luck! I'll be rooting and praying for you!
Kathy
Good luck we are behind you! And Herr if u need to talk or rant!
Good luck old friend you know we are all in your corner big time!
Wishing u the best of luck!
I haven't been around for ages myself, and now I don't have a clue what stuff means. "triple" sounds heavy though, hope it means triple as effective and not triple sx :p
Glad you are back. I get you about this side. Sometimes you just want to talk not science. Both are helpful. So sorry to hear you are having to go through tx again but hope this is the last. 65 weeks? WOW I tried the same treatment back in '99 but was stopped by sx. Just wasn't in place to be even sicker for awhile financially. Got real sick. Thinking of trying again soon. Good luck to you. Much Love.
Hi all. Thanks for all the kind comments. I didn't mean to hit and run. The itchys and the tireds hit me all of a sudden and I've been sleeping a lot! Those old familiar feelings are creeping back. Argggh! Gotta remember, it's only temporary!
Welcome back fellow warrior. I am serious!!! Here we go again. I'll be watching you. Really feel a new energy this time. I hope you do also. What a brave soul you are - 65 f****** weeks. I bow to you and so many like NYgirl. Thanks for showing us how to do it. Libzo
Because you are a relapser unless you are not cirrhotic which you are not it doesn't matter if you did 48, 65, or 72 wks previously. If you achieve eRVR with Incivek the odds of SVR are extremely high with a 24 wk treatment duration and there is little or no difference in SVR rates between those who do 24 wks and those that do 48 wks.
Just thought you'd like to know this info.
Good Luck
Hi lizbo1. I appreciate the encouragement. I think we all get thru this the best we can.
Hi lynda607, I sure appreciate the info..
good luck on this journey, just take it day by day. I was soo happy to end when I did, I just started getting some skin stuff, and now its all gone.
I'll be heading for my 4 month post treatment check up and will get results from Oct. labs. I think the PI's are great. (of course I do) so good luck to you.
