Yes, it has been a long time. How are both of you. I have not posted in awhile myself. Been very busy. I have alot of catching up to do, lots of new names. I did not see too many old familar ones. Hope you hear from Kalio. Have a good evening.

You know I haven't heard from here at all either - where is she?
Let's try to keep this post up towards the top.
Hey Cajun - it's great to see you TOO! I'm sorry I don't know what you're going through (I don't post as much as I used to) but I am going to pray for you anyway if you don't mind!

Nygirl, I don't know if you caught any of the thread regarding my hubby. He has been fighting hodgkins lymphoma since 2003. Stanford 5 treatment failed after 3 years, then Stem Cell Transplant, failed after 3 weeks. Refused for bone marrow transplant; because his hodgkins is chemo resistant. Nothing will cure the disease. He is now doing an R-Eshap treatment BUT only to shrink the tumors that are causing him extreme pain. He is now 149 lbs and is 6 ft. His counts are down after the first round of this R-eshap, did a dose of procrit 40,000 units on tuesday and today his HGB is now at 7.9, went to get a blood transfusion today and they could not keep a vein up, they were blowing out. After 6/7 times he said enough and that he would get his oncologist to order a port. So no blood transfusion and I was told he could not have another shot until Tuesday again. How true is that, he only took 40,000 units is that all someone can take in a week. Like you I still have two boys 12 and 16 almost 17 to keep their spirits up, not much time for me to fall; just have to keep going and when time is right I will let go and do what I need to do to deal. Don't cry much; don't want my kids to see weakness, they need to know that mom can handle it, even when dad is gone.
I am hoping he makes it through the holidays.
I know you went through a similiar thing not long ago with your husband and kids father. I am so so glad your son had that time; even though shorter than expected, he still has that to treasure.

Oh, I remember you posting about your husband.
