Elevation of AST & ALT. Not stressing!!

Seems I have seen this question before, and I understand my values are within the reference range. And yet they have slightly risen. On 1-25-2013, my AST was 20, ALT was 21. On 2-22-2013, AST was 23, ALT was also 23. Of course my baseline values on 8-22-2012 were AST 230 and ALT 430.
Which had dropped from values of AST 393, ALT 499 on 5-11-2012.
I was considering the fact that I used to drink a detox tea, and quit doing so, if that could be a reason for the change in my enzyme levels.

Don't worry in the least about those small fluctuations.  Some people's even go outside normal and it didn't mean a thing.

Enzyme levels while on the treament meds are red herrings. Only thing that matters is viral load.  When enzyme levels can range for the single digits to the thousands a movement of two is inconsequential and is meaningless to the outcome or progress of treatment.

You're doing incredibly well, what a lovely drop in values from your baseline.  My husband's AST and ALT fluctuated pretty widely during tx, back in absolute normal range now that he's finished.

The AST and ALT results fluctuate on treatment and also most of the time. Your levels are great. Both sets are normal. Going from 20 to 23 is normal. Just normal fluctuation.
