Don't be nervous about going back to school. You won't have a problem, you are as sharp as they come. I can tell from your posts.
I just did this premath test...see if you can do it....may help with brian fog...the test in half way down

Way to go bro! Wishing you all the best. I equally have decided to go back to school. It's in the arts and music department though. Hope my brain will be able to comprehend all the mus. theory... lol...
It's always good to go back to learn and definitely a great opportunity if it is free. You are very lucky! Go for it!

Yes..this new govt program is great...all workers who have been affected by the downturn can get free training and all is paid for....even E.I extensions...books accomidation transit..ALL...and if your disabled they will even help you
I LOVE CANADA
And there is a global company looking for workers with this type of trade....pipefitter is another...and the company is booming in my home province...and others....they are begging for workers....there is work out there...ITS HIDDEN....did you know only 15% of jpbs are posted
Soooo glad you're feeling better! What a great idea, to take advantage of this time and your benefits to get another kind of training. Don't know anything about millwrights either, but the work sounds like it's right up your alley.
Glad to hear that proverbial window opened for you. And you're feeling the breeze.
I am impressed. The thought of going back to school after the recent ordeals seems bold. I'm all for you bro, though I know nothing about millwrights other than they make things square and level. I think that would have been tough to do during TX. Good luck to you!
Brent
As gungho as you sound, from what I've read via your posts, you'll be accepted! Yeah, it's never to late to learn!!

Ive got some rare photos of Syd Barret.....i am not accepted for the schooling yet....ive jusy been setting it all up....but i cant see any reason why not...like i said...they are crying for tradespeople here...the recession will end soon anyway...then look out,...id say by 2012...thats just a couple of more years
This far into tx, it should read microlobotimist. Or at least it feels that way =)
Shucks, I thought you were studying to be a biolobist...I always wanted to know a microbiolobist.
School is the best thing!
jd
My classes are nothing compared to going for a Masters...you're way ahead of me. But, now that I have a few weeks off, I realize that focusing on school kept me off the couch. So even tho I am really tired I think it is a good for me.
(above should have read microbiology, not microbioloby, lol!)
Congrats on the job training! I think it is a great opportunity. I have always thought if you have a trade you will never go hungry. Skilled workers are becoming more and more scarce.
Regarding Pink Floyd (my all time favorite)..Roger Waters...Gilmore did not come until after Syd Barrett.
Maybe i should take a job cleaning widows for high ries buildings...i just love hanging of the empire state building lookk down on a windy day as i sway back and for and watch my bucket drop...good pay...
My biggest fear was having brain fog while working on my Masters. I'm in a combined program, and even though I'm still undergrad, the fall semester is all 600 level classes. I do have trouble with Accounting but I had that last semester and I wasn't txing then. I just don't like Accounting, and it's hard to retain something that is boring to you.
About brain fog and school.... I agree with the post above. School and studying seems to keep me focused. I can't make it through the grocery store, but I can nail it in chemistry and microbioloby, lol!
Plus it makes the time pass faster.
My last job was running CNC brake presses..and yes...millwrights are involved in CNC heavy equipment..with this trade you install new machines...set them up...repair...maintainn them after they are up and running...you even make the parts for them if required...you need to do some welding too...and rigging....which is hooking up heavy machinery and moving it...we also use lazers to level the machines...its one of the only trades that uses a bit of other trade skills...i have my eyes on thie nickel mining company....very big company...40,000 emplyess
millwright. Is that like running a CNC Milling machine?
Yay!! I'm happy for you, that sounds great! You had me quite worried there for a while. Hugs bro, Marcia
