Good News frpm a former poster

Thought some pf you would want to know that Compulsive got her 6 month PCR and she's SVR!!!!!!!!

She had 1A and treated for 48 weeks.

She got the results yesterday.  :)

Wyn, I've been taking the time to read some history of where members are (it is so difficult to remember who has completed; who is on treatment; who is on the 2nd time and who is taking the time to learn more before treatment, etc) and I know you've been at treatment a long time.  Just wanted you to know I've noticed your comments and understand you're having a hard way to go and hoping the fog will work to your advantage and that you will just drift through these next 12 weeks.. and soon it will be your yesterday

I finally bit the bullet and went yesterday.. I kept putting it off..   I should know in I guess a week or so..    But I am so nervous.  that new doctor didn't seem like he was very optomistic about it.   But I have my fingers, toes and legs crossed.. LOL   Its wonderful to be able to sit cross legged again.  I have gained back about 5 lbs, and of course it went right to the middle.  now all those skinny clothes I will have a spare tire above the pants line if I don't do something quick..    I am gonna have to start doing some exercises , situps.. something..    errrrr  cannot gain this weight back.     But I guess 5 lbs is not bad , since its been 3 mos.  ..   I am sorry the sx are getting to you.  I know that last couple of months for me were pretty bad, but I was hanging in there and tried not to complain..  It was almost over.  I can hardly believe I am done..  I feel great otherwise.. Did Busch Gardens last friday.  We took my Nephew.  If you go to my journal you will see a picture of the 2 of us.    Anyway.  hope you feel better soon, and hang in there GF you are almost there.  And things will start returning to normal.. I did not really feel a difference till like the 2nd week, was a bit stronger, and kept getting that way a bit at a time.    But I feel great.. hair is coming back.. rash is gone.. ..yipppepeee..   and skin is starting to look better.  Still have these strange itchy little bumps that come up, almost like something bit me.. but it wont heal.. it stops itching.. scabs over, and starts all over again.. I have this spot just below my wrist that will not go away. and one on my shoulder.  just when it I think wow , finally its going away.. it comes back.. like its from the inside almost.. I dunno.. but I may have to go to Derm doc again if not gone soon.    

Count down time is there.. hang in there and feel better.

Comp took a break from forum, that's what I meant.

I'm counting down; after tomorrow night 12 weeks to go.  Got the last 3 month batch of meds on ice.  It is rough and i am nutty and had to go back on AD's - Staff at the PCP's cringe whenever I walk through the office door, which is usually once or twice a week . . . lots of meds and Dr. and health complications but the AD is already working and I'm slightly calmer.

How about you?  How's post-TX life?  Did you ever get that 3 month PCR?

That is so great!!!  Please let her know I asked about her. She is a great soul and I have missed her. I am really happy about the news!  How are you?  Been wondering how you are lately.

So happy for Compulsive!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I just mentioned her name a few weeks ago, wondering how she made out. I remember how sick she was and went down to 100lbs - almost pulled off tx and all that. She really had it so hard, I am so glad that its all behind her.

Is she back to racing yet?

Please tell her I was asking for her and that I am so happy to hear this great news.
