I'm doing pretty good on the HGB. I've been taking Folic Acid and eating a good bit of pasta. My nurse says by looking at the history she dont think it will drop much more. But if it does, it does and I'll deal with it. This morning is the last dose of the trial drug so from here on out it will be SOC.
Thanks guys,
Tommy
Fabulous 3 letters aren't they? Great!
How you doing with the HGB drops? (Second thing I saw also Deb) That kicked my butt! Hope you handle it well, as NYGirl said, stay on top of that.
Wishing you a minimal sides, successful tx, LL
Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. You all are are part of my favorite team.

AWESOMENESS!!!!!!!!!!!! (Take it from one who knows who didn't make it before 12 - this is FANTASTIC!)
Make sure you watch your hemo if it goes down another point you might want procrit - in fact if you haven't asked your doc what his intentions are if you get to 10.0 I'd do it now. Not that it will necessarily happen but if it does procrit takes a few weeks to work and you are really going to want it to work asap. Plus some docs don't believe in it so if that is the case you want to be able to plead your cause. And then there are insurance things.......it's EXTREMELY expensive ($6000 for a box of only 10 shots) so sometimes you have to haggle with them.
(Dont want to seem like a party poop but I don't want you to get stuck either - my doc had no idea why I felt so bad when I was already at HGB 9....I had to tell him and I only learned from this forum - he thought I had a chest cold and tinitis but it was really all hemolytic anemia!)
CONGRATULATIONS TEE TOM!!!!!!!!!!! YOU KEEP GOING!!!!!!
Wow, you made the 12 week cut-off; that's wonderful news. Your numbers look pretty darn good, too. Hope the rest of your TX stays smooth.
Looks like you are gonna win this fight.Congrats
Congratulations TeeTom. That is reason for optimism.
I wish you good luck.
