This is the social forum for hepatitis. It's perfectly fine to post here, but if you have medical questions, they will probably get answered more rapidly in the HCV forum.
Yes the bike was wonderful, but that picture was taken 52 years ago!
Hey am I in the HVC forum...I`m kinda mentally challenged & couldn`t find it....@ times I feel like the Tin Man, isn`t he the one who wanted a brain, lol.
Hey thanks 4 getting back to me. I have no idea where Duke is, Im in Cjarlotte & the best hospital here is CMC Medical Ctr. With shoert term memory from a brain tumor, Im lucky I can find my way there, lol....If I were still in NY I`d be going to Sloan but I`m on disability & couldn`t even afford my last rent up there...But 1 day I hope to beat this, get my remory back to capacity & get my life back....I can dream anyway. Sometimes that`s all people have left......Awesome bike by the way! I bet when you`re on it you`re feeling alive & not a care in the world.
Thanks alot for getting back to me. I`m sure I`ll become a regular in here. I`m kinda in my own time zone with nothing but time...I just thank God I`m not doing time, lol!
I responded on the HCV forum.
Are you near Duke University? They have a good medical school that probably has some excellent hepatologists on staff. Most GIs are not that experienced with HCV, so a hepatologist that has an additional specialty is better than a GI if you can find one.
Welcome to the forum. You will find just about every emotion we humans can experience expressed here. There is a lot of knowledge about HCV. All in all, it's a great place.
