HBsAG ELICA TITER RESULT

GOOD DAY! I'VE KNOWN THAT I AM A HEP B CARRIER SINCE 2006 BECAUSE WE HAD OUR MEDICAL SCREENING IN THE NURSING SCHOOL I AM AT. AFTER KNOWING THAT I AM AN HBSAG REACTIVE, I DID NOT SEEK FOR MEDICAL HELP BECAUSE OF FEAR AT THAT TIME AND BELIEVE THAT THE VIRUS WILL JUST GO AWAY AFTER YEARS. I AM NOW A REGISTERED NURSE AND NOW APPLYING ABROAD. MY APPLICATION WAS FREEZE BECAUSE THEY FOUND OUT ABOUT MY SITUATION. THE AGENCY SAID THAT I HAVE TO MEDICATE FIRST TO CONTINUE MY APPLICATION. NOW, I DID THIS ECLIA TEST FOR HBSAG AND MY RESULT IS 3263 (TITER) WHAT DOES THIS MEAN? THANKS AND GODBLESS!

This is a Hepatitis C forum.  It appears that you are actively infected with Hepatitis B and working in the medical field as a nurse? or testing for antibodies.  It sounds like you need to obtain a confirmation that you currently don't have Hepatitis B.  See a doctor for confirmation your not active or obtain medication.   You would get better results if you post your question on the "hepatitis B" forum.

Best to you
