hey you are funny!!...new liver for your eyeballs!!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha
(obvioulsy that made me laugh :):)
The TX has made my eyes and skin very sensitive to light. This last week my eyes hurt so bad by noon at work that I get a terrible headache. My NP said to wear tinted glasses indoors and I will be going to get my eyes checked next week. I can barely open my eyes outside with sunglasses on. I am not sure if it is because they are so dried out like everything else on me. Eye drops don't seem to help and sometimes hurt.
I hope this gets better after TX? I have been hesitant to get new glasses thinking they might get better later?
It sounds like maybe this was just from a bright light hitting your eyes when they might be more sensitive to TX? Good idea to wait and see if it happens again.
Yes that is what I am saying! And yes I got a scare!!! I was cutting someones hair the first time, and all of a sudden I could only see half their head. so I sat down and it did pass, after about 1/2 hr. :) .then I ran, not walked, to my DR.! called him, got in the car and went!!! ( I finished the hair cut first, after I recovered)
the doc told me that this is a migraine sx, w/out the headache. I had blind spots...BIG ones, like workin dog said, I only have one a yr. or so now...
I do have less stress in my life now too. :)
best wishes.

i walked out of high school in 68 with the same type of vision problem..never went back...no one would listen...when i would say as i looked at someone that half of their body was blurred out people would think i was on drugs...this stuff still happens now and then...fluoressent lighting can bring it on...i think its a head ache thing...i almost never get head aches but the vision thing comes and goes...as a matter of fact pitter was the first one i ran into with this problem...so i went through about 45 years of it before someone knew what i was talking about..other then a doc a long time ago saying it could be head aches...i haven't started tx yet...probably not for another 2 years ...waiting for the new tx if i can...i do worry about vision problems on tx ..anyway this problem seems to only come once or twice a year for a day or two...good luck....billy
I remember a time, back in my drug using days, in 1980, when I was doing the shrooming thing and there was a big jar of pennies that fell over and when they started rolling everywhere, for some reason, it was hysterically funny.... That's the mushrooms for you. Insane things strike you as funny. I didn't do mushrooms but that one time actually. I was in my experimenting phase until I latched onto coke-which ended up being my drug of choice until it all but destroyed me and then I quit it. After that, I latched onto drinking for a period of time, but stopped that, too. Shortly thereafter found out about the HepC. I actually had a test in 1985 that showed reactive non-A/non-B, but they didn't know anything about it at that time and they just sent me on my way. By 1994, when I was tested again after having RUQ pain, then, I had a positive Hep C test.

I dont think i would be very happy if this tx made me lose my eyesight but i dont think its been ever recorded that it has ever happened....what a trade off?.. a.new liver for your eye balls
i have those slap in the face too but rarely. i went to clinic today and told my PA about it and she says it's probably just a "chaos" moment that your body goes through sometimes to rearrange and then it's gonna settle down. about the vision thing, i get temporary blurry vision when i'm out of breath and feel nauseated. but if it's long term, maybe go to an opti and get it checked, i remember my first opti visit before tx and he said he's seen people on interferon with retinal hemorrhage which is not the best thing in the world
ok..you mean it could be a migraine symptom minus the headache thta may cause the freaky eye...did you get a scare?
Dont ever get headaches...not even on tx...its hard to describe waht i feel on tx....and its always the day after the shot...its like sickly feeling no pain at all
I meant the vision thing.
WOW...i have to take my time when i type...looks like chinese language
I am not tx ing, and haven't at all,,, so maybe aren't talkin apples to apples, but still, that was what it was for me...altho I was under alot of STRESS at the time that I first got them. And certainly tx is stressful!

Thanx Marcia...now dont you go worring about little ole me....im a big boy and can take care of myself...the eye sight problem was from the lift truck...i lokked at the light again and i seen the same..so its not the tx drugs it seems....mushrooms?....LOL...i will admit i had my fun with those back in the day...they make me laugh so much i pass out.
I'm sorry that you are going through a rough time my brother. The eye sight thing must have been scary. I wonder what it could have been. I hope it was just a one off thing. You are working very hard, maybe you should slow down a bit, like no over time, if possible. Make sure to get enough rest and don't forget to drink fluids when you are at work. Hugs to you bro. Just wanted to say that I'm concerned about you and that you are in my thoughts and prayers. Marcia
Is there anyway when you're feeling so weird that your eyesight flips out; that, you can go home sick or something? Maybe your job situation isn't such that you can afford that opportunity. I'm just asking because I feel like it's not a crime if you need to take a day off now and then. It doesn't make you a bad person to do so. But, I also understand that with today's job market being so fragile that it may not be possible for you.

I saw colors also blue bright lights flashing out of the corners of my eyes on and off.
It started probably started week 30 or so. Never had vision problems just SHARP blue lights!

I wasnt too alarmed because a few forum members told me they had this for awhile also and as long as my eyes were ok I wasnt concerned.
If I were having vision problems, or eyes were RED I would have ran to doctor.
Are you getting your mushrooms at a different place these days?
don't tell your trial doctor, see an ophthalmologist first. If it is a retinal hemorrhage, tell your trial doctor.
If i tell her,she may cut me off....if it happens again i will...i believe it was the bright head lights tho...maybe i should look into the bright light again...if i see the same nitemare...i know im ok...ironic again?
BTW...this is intereting story...A DOGS LIFE it is
