Medical field and Hep C

After reading about Dr.Dieterick and his battle with Hep C I was just wondering if anybody knows just how many in the medical field have HepC???I am reading now that approximatly 1 in 45 people have the disease..cindy

Shoulder very very sore tonight-hadnt taken a pain pill in 2 days-tonight i had to have one.Not something that I want to do over thats for sure..thx for asking  cindy

i know of 3 nurses and 1 doctor that have hcv here in the san diego area.  so sad.  belle

1 in 45 in the US general population - maybe. Actual number probably higher. Higher among veterans. Much higher worldwide. Aprox. 1 in 7 in Egypt.
