Thanks for the concern and advice, do you still have any hair at 110?
live long and prosper!
Oh my! So many good suggestions here! R Glass, the weave idea is a good one, but I'm afraid there isn't enough hair left to add a weave to. To Portann, yes I buy only the best hair that I insist comes from virgins in northern Italy only. But lets face it, David isn't Italian, I am. Therefore it would be an obvious rug on his back. Bill, I know one would think that family would be the first to help....but not always true : (
Cousin it wouldn't give the time of day if he didn't feel like it. Screw Cousin it.
I'll take my baby bald and love him just the same.
Thanks for the good wit and a good laugh,

An extension to salvage his self esteem? I say just stuff them outdated tube socks ito a tight pair of Levis and call it a day.

It hasn't worked in the past!
Yes I still have hair at 110 and hopefully you will to. The only problem is it looks more like a hairy fungus.
I forgot weaves are attached to existing hair so, this rules out weaves.
I did have a revelation about the Wig. All we have to do is find you some Old Shag Carpet and some Construction Adhesive. I am sure we can get these items donated.
If not and your finances are low, we can print the picture of your back, tape them to jars, and place them in local businesses.
After this cruel sx is gone and you feel it is time, we can rip the carpet off your back. It will be like getting a Bikini Wax. Hopefully the new hair will grow back fuller than before.
We refuse to allow you to go through this alone. Sometimes it takes tragedies such as this for us to lay our petty differences aside and come together as a family.
We are here for you buddy, R. Glass.
Wow - absolutely not a chick thread here! Glad I found it -- it was referenced on the HGB thread on the other side and sounded mighty intriquing.
Dave, you might check with your local oncology department and see if they have a shop. I know, at least in our community, women suffering hair loss from chemotherapy can get for free or nearly nothing, wigs of good quality.
In fact perhaps you should start a national inquiry and try to get hair donations across the country for this worthy cause. We could actually give shorter hair than the usual ponytails. Can they superglue those hairs on, by the way? Next time I get my hair cut, I can ask my beautician (and I use that term lightly) if I can have the sweepings.
thewifelife -- it is very nice to meet you and get your input on this topic. I am glad to see you have found that the forum is helpful for all kinds of TX related issues.
