I found taking shots in the stomach was the way to go.  When I used my thighs I got bad site reactions and they lasted a long time.  When I used my abs it was much easier, besides I have MUCH more fat there than in my thighs!

I wish I could donate some of this fat to you - I have plenty!

How long have you been on tx? Like I posted to lalapple...as long as you go in at an angle you shouldn't hit a muscle. I prefered to take my shots in my stomach area. Never get close to the belly button or waist through. Best of luck to you!

I took most of my first shots in my legs...as long as you pinch the skin and go in at an angle you shouldn't hit a muscle. I didn't have much meat on my legs and it worked for me. Good luck to you!

I used to alternate between the right leg and left leg without worrying about the spot without a problem. The inside of the thigh was good for me.

omg i was worried about shot spots too, that was until i had to do 3 shots a week.  don't matter, i don't think it matters as long as you don't poke yourself in the same spot.  around it is ok.  on the stomach, i always bruise if i go close to the waist sides, in the middle under the belly button is fine.  i take 3 shots three days one after another and just switch sides.

not sure about the leg. ever done it, scared i'll hit a muscle

You should be OK with less than 2 inches, just adjust the angle of the needle a bit, more toward 45 degrees or even a little less. I also used the love handles or what was left of them. Just don't inject in or near the belly button or directly on the waist line, but above or below, left and right are OK. I would get six injection sites in ab area:
upp right (per waistline), upp left, lower right, lower left, right love handle, left love hande.
