Losing abeloved pet

I just wanted to share a website with you guys. I just lost my beloved dog to an accident and this is for anyone who might be in my situation now or in the future. It is helpful. RAINBOWBRIDGE.COM.  I thought I would just put this out there. I realize this a Hep C forum but we have other issues too, besides this damn disease.

I am so sorry for yur loss. I had to have my 13 yr old chocolate lab put to sleep last yr. They are the sweetest dogs. It broke my heart. `I have 2 other dogs a 5yr old Jack Russell and a 12 yr old Rat terrier and 2 cats. I love animals. I live out in the country, with 6 acres and I have a pet cemetery. I have made crosses with their names and have put artifical flowers on their graves. I even have my sons pet hamster out there. Pets are very special to me. So I do feel your hurt.

My heart goes out to you.  I ost a kitty during tx.  I thought I was going to die.  I truly know how our pets become our family.  God please and I will cont to say prayers for you .  These emotions do not just go away after a week.  Be prepared for feelings to surface off and own for awhile.

In the last 15 years I have said goodbye to more than my share.  Each one broke my heart but the worst ones were the American bred German Shepherds.  The breeders (most not all) only care about the show ring & side gait and forget about the health problems.  I got unlucky enough to fall in love with a bloodline that was riddled with health problems.

I am so sorry for your loss and I am a firm believer in the Rainbow Bridge.

I'm so so so sorry Agatha.  I don't know what I'll do someday when I lose my own puppy. I can't imagine how horrible it is for you but I will definitely keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

You are right we do have other problems aside from HCV for sure and we are all here just to let you cry and support you if you need.

I am so very sorry. It is such a hard thing to go through when loosing a pet. I know that site well as I lost a pet 2 years ago. I had to stop going there as it made me sadder to keep dwelling on it. I will say a prayer for you and your beloved pet. I am so sorry! Cara
