My first grandchild of my own

Hi everyone!

My son and his girl gave birth to a beautiful healthy baby boy today. I'm so proud of them, they delivered him themselves while waiting for the ambulance. 

So it's official, I'm a real Nanna now.

This is how my son describes the birth:

On the 5th of October 2010, at 21:10, a little angel came and blessed our lives with great felicity. We feel so lucky that it only took her 4 hours to bring a new life into ours. We surely didn't see it coming, he was born unexpectedly in our bathroom and I had the utmost privilege to deliver my own baby. It was the most beautiful and amazing moment of my life! Thank you all for your support, pictures coming soon :D!

Congratulations! My second grandchild was borne in a hallway at the top of the stairs while the paramedics watched. She's turned out very well.

Congrats Marcia sorry I've been out of the loop and didn't send my regards sooner!  Finally the time went by so fast (maybe a little while too fast huh?) - that is so cool now they have a great story to tell him about how anxious he was to get out into the world to say hello to everyone!
