Remember the Beach Boys' album Little Deuce Coupe's big hit "Be True to Your School"?

I was pretty little in '64 but I remember the Beach Boys big hit album Little Deuce Coupe reaching #4 and going platinum. It mostly deals with cars as subject matter, except "Be True to Your School".

"Be True to Your School" was written by Brian Wilson and Mike Love and first recorded on Session 1 of the recording of their 1964 album Little Deuce Coupe.

The Beach Boys recorded two versions.  The concept for the single version was born in the same studio session that Brian and Mike created the original idea for "Fun, Fun, Fun".
