Glad to state I got two persons on Harvoni free. Yes, their income was below the protocol of the Gilead guidelines. Why this was important for me, is that they are friends and had no idea that Gilead had this plan for those unable to afford the meds. Now, they are on the road to complete destruction and obliteration of the insidious monster that caused me to have a liver transplant. By the way, all my blood work comes back perfect. Liver is doing great. This coming Dec. 2nd will be my three year anniversary of the transplant. I have more energy than even before treatments (5), and am performing on a regular basis. My voice is very powerful and although I can't sing like Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin, I can hold my own.

By the way, I wrote a letter to the donor's family with no reply. The organization said that some never recover from the loss and are in too much pain to respond without the traumatic memory of their loss.

I have been telling a friend of mine that the manufacturer will help but I guess he doesn't believe me.
