At Bed, Bath and Beyond (and probably other stores) they have a lotion applier for the back. It looks like one of those loofahs you use in the shower with the long wooden handle but it has a round sponge like bottom instead of the loofah. It works well and it's around 6.00 bucks. Take a look...

LMAO....JUST told a friend.....I've never had a back rub that didn't lead to sex :)

Hi - not posting much still pretty darn miserable...but here's what works for me itch wise. I take a pillow case - fold it like tissue paper comes long ways to be about 4 inches wide. Then I squeez a line of lotion (Gold bond or St. Ives Collegen and elastigen and this is the most important part - squeeze a line of pure jojoba oil (trader joes or health food store) over the lotion - mix together a little then hold it behind your back like if you were drying your back and go back and forth - it doesn't scratch the itchy bumps and puts on a ton of lotion - is soft and cool and feels great!
Tomorrow I am going to my first float tank...guess they are awesome for pain and all the other associated **** we are going through....here's a link of the one in Burbank - but the are all over if you google it - http://www.soothingsolutions.net/float.html
Miss you all - 3 weeks and 5 days left (if I make it that long)

I think the stick my friend used was one where a loofah or something was originally attached... And they either used it and then made it or maybe just took it off.
But yeah -- I used a wooden spoon to put on lotion on my back... LOL!
(Well OK --- I cheated sometimes and used the Hubby... but yanno... that usually turned into more than a lotion experience. LMAO!)
