Cheap Scratcher inspired by itchy back

My friend built me a back scratcher....

OK?

It's a long stick that you can hold in your hands --- smooth --- about 2 feet long...

And he nailed 4 bottle caps to it.... with the crimped open end out.

You put it on your back and gently scratch.... It's AMAZING... and cheap!

Just thought I'd share with all you itchers....

LOL!

At Bed, Bath and Beyond (and probably other stores) they have a lotion applier for the back.  It looks like one of those loofahs  you use in the shower with the long wooden handle but it has a round sponge like bottom instead of the loofah.  It works well and it's around 6.00 bucks.  Take a look...

""""Meki.... I used a plastic pasta 'fork'! The big ones. Kept it in my night stand!  Not quite what you'd expect to see in a night stand drawer :) """""

ROFLMAO

Definetely NOT something a single woman should keep in her drawer when she invites a "friend" over.

ROFLMAO!!!!!!

I have batteries in mine.... *giggle*

Medic....Yah, using the Hubby is risky...Mine gave me a massage about 10 yrs ago...We named her Jessica...LOL .........
LMAO....JUST told a friend.....I've never had a back rub that didn't lead to sex :)
(therefore I am never allowed to go to professional masseuse’s :)

Mremeet...Hey be careful with that thing, don't want to end up with a case of cap scratch fever. ;-)
That was funny :)

I have no bottle caps anymore, don't drink soda & can't drink bud light :(
Funny, I got a rash 10 weeks post tx! Lasted 6-7 weeks and still a little on my back??

Hi - not posting much still pretty darn miserable...but here's what works for me itch wise. I take a pillow case - fold it like tissue paper comes long ways to be about 4 inches wide. Then I squeez a line of lotion (Gold bond or St. Ives Collegen and elastigen and this is the most important part - squeeze a line of pure jojoba oil (trader joes or health food store) over the lotion - mix together a little then hold it behind your back like if you were drying your back and go back and forth - it doesn't scratch the itchy bumps and puts on a ton of lotion - is soft and cool and  feels great!

Tomorrow I am going to my first  float tank...guess they are awesome for pain and all the other associated **** we are going through....here's a link of the one in Burbank - but the are all over if you google it - http://www.soothingsolutions.net/float.html

Miss you all - 3 weeks and 5 days left (if I make it that long)

I think the stick my friend used was one where a loofah or something was originally attached... And they either used it and then made it or maybe just took it off.

But yeah -- I used a wooden spoon to put on lotion on my back... LOL!

(Well OK --- I cheated sometimes and used the Hubby... but yanno... that usually turned into more than a lotion experience. LMAO!)
