Post treatment

I have my next follow up 6 month evaluation with my Gastro physician next week and will probably have the dreaded PCR viral load ordered. I want to talk with him about this site and tell him that I have found other people that have post treatment problems which helps me tremendously in a mental health way......I am asking for anyone who is willing to share some of the post treatment problems they are dealing with. I will be so grateful for your help. Thanks for kindness and friendship.

Although there are many people who report post treatment problems, there are many who don't.  Fortunately, I recovered completely after both treatments. It took up to two months to shake off all the effects but I returned to normal.  However, after having hcv for about 35 years and the cumulative effects over all those years, I'm not suree what normal should be.  One piece of advice that I would offer is the approach that you might use with the doc.  If the first words out of your mouth are 'Doc, I've spent time on the internet comparing my experiences with others...and they seem to think....'  You might lose the doc right there.  It might be better to arm yourself with objective information from medical studies that you can find and then talk about yourself primarily.  Good luck.  By the way, who is that guy in your picture?
