I'm glad everyone is now treating this social site for what it is meant to be..Social not medical.
Peterson's Guide to "Birds of North America", of course. :-)
How do you guys know this stuff?
Or are you making it up?
Mike
Multiple hummers are found in some clandestine locations, though. This is mostly in southern Utah in desert climates.
The hummingbirds in Utah breed quite prolificly. As for the poly-hummer, the can enter the state quite legally one at a time, as in other states.
"I think that his probably just mostly spit. "
When they ain't squealing like pigs or icing their nethers....
Frijole my girl I think that his probably just mostly spit.
What is with all these double lines and spinning circles. Even the big green checks are pretty dang stupid if you ask me. Where is the plain Jane, to the point, MH that I grew to love?
I clicked on that double lined West Texas and it led me to a www.testing site. Now how dumb is that.
Goof - our hummers breed. What do yours do?

"west Texas Black-Chinned hummers are our breeding species"
I thought the lack of breeding was one of the main attractions to the hummers? Here we see more of the sticky chinned hummers.
"I see a lot of broad-tailed hummers in Utah."
I thought I read hummers were illegal in Utah? Maybe not - could be the land of the polyhummer...
I see a lot of broad-tailed hummers in Utah. Also the Caliope (not to be confused with the thing with the pipes that sound of under compressed air).
if I was GoofyDad I'd say I like the triple play. Humming in my Hummer while getting one!
I think they're good tunes but I was really just taking up space. That seems very much in vogue these days.
I know you'll get well Kathy. I don't have a doubt about you. You're just built that way - tough!
Be well,
Mike
Hi Mike. No, I haven't been around much. Post tax season recovery, I imagine. I see that you have posted a lot of song threads that I need to go check out. That is always a hot topic too.
I hope you are doing well. My time line is probably to be back on treatment this time next year if they can get the PI's on line. So mostly I just check when I am here to see what the latest is on Boceprevir and Telaprevir. Not really much, it would seem.
I will try to check in more often.
kathy
It takes hummingbirds to get you to come out and play.
It's always nice to see your name and I really love those birds. WOW!
Mike
.... but you are neglecting half the country . Those little Ruby Thoats are an eastern species, and all you got! Admittedly, they are beauties.
Why here in west Texas Black-Chinned hummers are our breeding species, but we get fly throughs from Broad tailed and Rufus hummers with an occasional Caliope thrown in. If you go to southeast Arizona you can see upwards of 10 species up from Mexico

hummingbirds are a passion
Why Michael whatever do you mean I'm so confused!
I was wondering who would comment on my hummer birds
I was thinking of a different type of hummer.
Why do you guys like those big gas guzzling cars so much? ;)
Hey Smaug where you been hiding? :)
Who doesn't love a hummer?
