Is there any treatment for hepatitis B?

Hi all,
Please my fiance has been diagnosed with hepatitis B and getting to know about it and its effects scares me. Though i have started my vaccine to immunize me against it, i'll like to know if there's a way he can be treated.
Your responses will be highly appreciated.
Thanks

Hepatitis B is usually treated with oral medication to manage the disease.

You did not say how long he has had HepB. Many people’s bodies get rid of the disease on their own. If not, it is considered chronic and will require some treatment to manage.

You may try the Hepatitis B forum at    http://www.medhelp.org/forums/show/223
There are some knowledgeable people there that could help.
