I think that's because the ace and the five have red artwork patterns on the back and all the other 8 cards are blue.
LOL...funny thing is when i use 2 different cards, say like the 5 and 8....same thing...you will always pick out those 2 cards...the remaining 2 cards are never the 2 i picked....if the 5 and 8 are the last 2 remaining cards...this means i am toast
My odds go up to 90% if i treat for 48 weeks in this Boceprevir trial...so if do this test with one card the (ace of spaces of course)...the odds are i will always pick the the ace card(almost)...i have
i have 9 trys to pick out the ace card ina pile of 10 cards...try it out and see
When I pick my nose, 80% I go with the right hand. When I use the left, 20% of the time I end up picking my teeth or my will knots. 5% of the time I do both, but never in reverse order.
At least I'm not a picky eater.
The odds are if you have an 80% chance in winning 1 in 5 will lose. That is about as accurate as you can get and it can't be disputed. It's basic math.
If your winning more than 1 hand of every five you play, then you are defying the odds and you must be one lucky SOB but if you play long enough the odds will catch up to you because they always do. That's why Vegas never loses!
Wow, gotta reframe my thinking now...
I used to think of this treatment as cr@ps.
Now I can think of it as a house of cards.
(Or maybe just a really extreme game of high/low...)
Sounds like I need that deck of cards the way my lucks been running lately.
go with goofydad's response it makes more sense.lol
Man you have nothing to worry about as you are on boceprevir and you cleared by your 12th week. You will SVR, period. good luck
My chances must be very high then, it don't matter with which hand or finger I pick my nose, I always get it right. Even get all the big buggers with my thumbs.....
Just played 10 games and lost 2 games.= 80%
Just played 30 games again...i lost 8 games out of 30....that 75% odds i won....
Did week 25....still in the 48 week arm. Did week 30....still in the 48 week arm. Did week 38....dang...I keep playing and I keep losing =(
Rocker....you don't need to keep playing cards....even with my unlucky deck you're 100% winner =)
All you bugger pickers out there....remember, if a straw can transmit hep thru (broken, bleeding) nasal membrane....where do you think all those germs on your fingers are gonna end up???? Ewwww, bugger brains, lol!!!!

Marcia - As me Dear Ol' Dad used to say, You can pick your friends, and you can pick your nose, but you can't pick your friends nose. Too hard to find the buggers. Europe is great. In the US gals neither pick their noses, nor fart...
will knots......
ROFL!
If given a choice, stick with the boogers
Will knots - right, got it. Yeah, don't reverse the order.
Goof, yanking on a will knot can cause undo pain, becareful down there.
Isobella, i agree stick with the boogers, but a word of caution. Once while driving i dug out a big one, not knowing what to do with it i rolled it around in my fingers and then flipped it out the window. Problem was my window was rolled up. Thinking fast i run my window up and down several times thinking this would solve the problem.
Wrong again, just smeared it on thw window, so for the last 6 months anytime i need to see if anythings is coming i have to roll the window down, on the bright side its getting warmer out but then theres the spring rain....... Oh well whats a hepper to do???
Excuse me while i puke my guts up.
Professor Meadows, an immunologist at Washington State University says, "The drainage from your nose is largely made up of mucous and fluid."
The internal portion of your nose is lined with something called a mucous membrane, same as the inside of your stomach. In the stomach, mucous defends you against yourself. Its slimy, lubricating coating guards the lining of your stomach against the hydrochloric acid that helps digest your food.
In the nose, mucous has two roles. Along with tiny hair-like projections called cilia, it traps dust, bacteria, and other small particles breathed in with air. Working together as a filtering team, they make the air easier to breathe, cleaner and more free of such harmful things as bacteria.
Basically, snot is a mixture of water and the particles that it and the cilia filter out. It also includes shed epithelial cells, dead leukocytes, dead bacteria and their products, mucin, and inorganic salts.
Epithelial cells line all the inside surfaces of your body, including your nose. They die and are shed much like the skin that peels off in the shower when you have a sunburn. Mucous acts like a shower in your nose, washing away the elderly cells.
White blood cells, or leukocytes, are soldiers in the war on bacteria and other foreign material in your nose. Leukocytes protect your nose (and your body) by swallowing all that bad stuff. Then they die and are washed out in mucous.
Mucin is a sugar made by the mucous membrane that lines your nose. It is one of the products that helps moisten, lubricate, and protect the inside of the nasal passage.
The inorganic salts are materials breathed in that can harden and becomeboogers..

When it comes to yanking on things "down there', Cando - I will certainly defer to your judgement and expertise my friend.
See....that's why it grosses me out so much when people snort their snot back in, rather than blow it out.
Why would you want to have all that snot inside when your body is trying so hard to get rid of it????
Another reason why I am a firm believer in netti pots and nasal saline rinses.
Can-do....Oddly enough...you make that sound like fun =) (in a sick, throw up in your mouth kinda way, lol!!!) Kids....don't try this at home, lol!!!
I will forever remember when/where I learned the term "will knots"...goofy dad, you're going down in history as a great linguist.
