Who wants to plan the next Fl lunch?

I'm thinking about if someone else wants to pick the eating place this time.  Somebody suggested doing it on a Sun.  How about Dec. 2nd or Dec. 9th??   I don't have to make all these decisions.....I don't want to be stealing somebody else's fun-of planning a lunch.    There's a few of the FL. heppers who are getting together for camping on Veteran's Day weekend, in Ocala.   I'm not going to be able to do that one, but I can do a lunch date on those dates I listed above, if somebody wants to plan it.  I can travel to anywhere in the Orlando-Brevard County area, but South FL is not a good location for me.  I can go up to Ocala, because then, I'd just drive on up to my parent's place in Lake City after we finished our lunch.  So, somebody.........speak up.......

The camping trip is indeed on Veteran's Day weekend, November 11th.  There are about 25 hepper folks/familys planning on attending the event.  Some folks will be arriving eariler in the weekend, our big b'que is planned for Sunday afternoon, Nov. 11th.  I'll try to cut/paste the camp ground site, I believe there are still cabins, tent & RV sites available but not positive.  Some are just making it a day trip and it's not only Floridians that are attending, we have folks flying in from the west coast and also the frozen north!  Silver River (near Ocala): http://www.floridastateparks.org/silverriver/default.cfm; Sorry, I can't make a December luncheon .... to many holiday things going on.  Lyn

Sorry I missed it.  I bet you guys had a good time and a delicious lunch.   I had been really looking forward to the lunch.  Oh well maybe next time.   And hasn't Veteran's day this year already passed ?  Seems when you were planning the lunch, they were going to go camping that weekend or the next.   Or are you talking about next year ?   As far as I can remember, the next Holiday will be Thanksgiving...  After Halloween of course.  .. LOL   anyway,   I hope you are doing well, and I am glad you guys had a good time.  I will see if I can come up with any ideas ..   for the next time.  But will definately have to make a point to go to Crossroads when we go over to Orlando next time to our timeshare.  We do not go again till 2009.  Next year, we probably will just hang around here. I am so glad I only have 6 shots to go..  I am so broke, I cannot pay attention.    All the co-pays have been using up my money I save for Christmas.     So will take a while to build that up again.
