I am sorry. Take the experience folks are having not as an elitism but rather a line of hope that you will soon hook up to.
The new orals will be available to you within a few years and it will be a lot easier to go through treatment.
Your time will come, hang in there."
Yes I too believe once the orals come it will be a major victory. We will NEVER be free of HCV though Bocep, too many people refuse to be tested. My whole group of friends must have it (there are too many of us who do to be coincedence) but...they think they are fine. Wont test even though many of us have had to fight this thing. I've preached till my throat hurts but, I cant make them see logic. I tried.
Grateful for SVR and hoping it comes easier to the next line of treaters. Six? Seven years? Seems like an eternity ago really. But dang that was a long 72 weeks I can remember that LOL.
5 years SVR for me and my husband, yes we treated together and slayed the dragon.
yeah talk about interferon warriors, I mean, really, at the beginning (me in early 90s) which of us thought we would have gone through 3 or 4 rounds of treatment. Never in my wildest dreams.
And dont forget , MeWithC, many of these SVR folks are on there 2nd, 3rd or even 4th Treatment.
That's why we call ourselves Dragon-slaying Warriors. Becuz The Dragon is conniving and unpredictable, so it is much like a battle. If you lose one battle, it doesn't make a lost war. Regroup, recharge, and grab your sword and shield, when he time is right, touche- hah

I noticed....someday I'll be one of the elite SVR group.....
Off topic, I tried to reply to your pm and it said you aren't accepting notes or messages at this time.
And thanx to you OH, and many, many other contributors the info on this forum is helping people thru tx. There are lots of details to triple tx and I know you all have helped fill in the gaps for me.
So, thanx to all,

I've been around this forum for a long time. We used to see a lot more people relapsing. Treatment isn't easy, thankfully for most, it is indeed working.
Yes, now we are seeing all the Triple-Treaters
weighing in...woot :)
Hopefully, by thew year 2020, we will have completely erradicated Hep C forever
