Wow...that is incredible. So glad to hear about your sister and her recovery from alcohol and drugs. A walking miracle is right!!
most of the time when we see this
its a matter of months. maybe shorter, maybe longer.
all I can say is don't give up hope...I've posted this a few times before, but my younger sister is a walking miracle...she couldn't give up the drugs and alcohol, so she went to
England to basically die...she was admitted to the ER there in Liverpool England in complete liver and kidney failure, they gave her a 5% chance of pulling through...she was in the ICU for a month, and in critical care for about 3 months, thereabouts...they kept on telling us to make funeral arrangements, but every night she somehow pulled through...after 4 months in the hospital, she was flown home first class (remember, all of this on the hospital in England's dime) and sent by limo with two nurses home to Los Angeles with my mother, and then they dropped her off....
When I went to see her, she looked barely human, I really think she wasn't long for this world...well, that was 4 years ago now, and though she still has many medical problems, and advanced cirrhosis, she walks about 2 miles a day, and is doing okay considering (she has more energy then I do)...so never give up hope, no one knows what's in store for any of us ALL the time, including doctors....
I went throught this with my ex-husband. I cannot give you any medical advice but I can be here for you if you need to talk. I will keep you and your family in my prayers. merlino

Thank you, he has been having testing done today and I was just wondering what to expect since I have asked the doctors and received two different answers. Thanks again for your help, any help or comments appreciated.
Sincerely,
Karave
I don't have any answers for you...we are not primarily patients ourselves...not doctors. Have you asked them? It seems to me that would be in you and your husbands best interest right now. I am so sorry you, your husband and family are going through this.
Sincerely,
Y
