I "foster failed" my last foster..in other words, I adopted her myself :-) ...
LOL! That would be my biggest problem! I am worse to 'adopt' from than the humane society!! (as I sit here with 6 more puppies needing homes)
We'll have to talk on this soon. I'll PM ya', I have GOT to go 'organization' as I could have paid off a house on what I've spent on animals! (not to mention having 13 right now and taking care of old dog next door).
3 more days and I'm free!!!!!!!! ..................
Priceless isn't it :)
LL
Thanks! You'll be able to say the same thing soon!
I didn't really count down until the last couple of weeks. The end just seemed so far away. Now all of a sudden I have 3 days left and I've done my last shot! Unbelievable....
I am so happy for you!
I can't wait to be able to say the same thing! Have fun with your friends and best of luck with your new post-TX life.

The excitement is building every day. It was so great to fill up my pill dispenser and leave some empty days!!!
Yes, I do rescue. I am a volunteer and core member with Adopt a Husky, Inc. Right now I am not fostering any dogs. I "foster failed" my last foster..in other words, I adopted her myself :-) Both of my dogs were adopted from Adopt a Husky.
I take care of all the phone calls that come into the Adopt a Husky phone, deal with shelters regarding intakes, etc We have our annual "Husky Hike" in May and I've been in charge of registration for the last several years. Last year I was able to take care of all the pre-hike stuff but wasn't able to attend the hike...too sick that day...
This year will be a different story and I should be feeling pretty good by then.
I'd be happy to talk dogs/rescue anytime!!
3 more days and I'm free!!!!!!!!
Thanks! I'm anxious to be done and enjoy my spring...if only it would stop snowing here!!!
"dogs dumped in PR, we brought HERE"... We didn't dump her!
Tho I figure you understood that.
Wonderful! You stuck it out (are) to the last pill! Hoping you can and do get back to feeling like yourself again soon. Is a thrilling thought, isn't it ? :)
Is that your shelter I saw on your profile? If so we'll have to talk soon!!
Not on adopting, I save and adopt out also and trying to make it 'official' this year, as in bigger, better, more set up for all the ones I drag home.
Tho 'Luna' crossed my mind :)
(we have a 'Luna' here already!! Dog we brought dumped in PR with her sister. Threw her & sister on the plane with the horse's to bring here!)
Wishing you SVR for life!

SVR party in the Windy City this fall!!
Hi Eric,
I can't wait to start feeling like myself again.
A friend of mine has declared Thursday as "All Bad Things Gone and Only Good Things to Come Day".
I'm looking forward to us Prove 3ers being the guests of honor at our SRV party.
Party plans start Friday!
Thanks!
I didn't really start counting down until a couple weeks ago.
Now the excitement is building and I can't wait for Friday to come!
You're in the home stretch with only 7 weeks to go:-)
dmhrdh... congrats! I finished my last riba pill Fri. (a couple of days ago)... hoping you feel great soon! (Hoping I will too!)
Eric... so cool dude that you immediately felt better..lol
Scotty --- saw you on here and just sooooo happy to see you here ... not on mh much, myself and wanted you to know I'm feeling better mentally than my post a week or so ago.... hoping these next 6 wks go by like wild fire for you!!!!!!! Hugs! Libby
Congratulations! I'm 6 weeks behind you and I remember coming off of SOC and it seemed that I started to feel better very quickly. It still probably took a few months to really feel like I was fully human but that will come with time.
Count me in on the SVR party with you and Eric! That should be about 6-7 months out and what a time that will be!
Take care!
Scotty
Congratulations. I finished last week and I started to feel better within one day. I am sure you will as well.
We need to start planning our SVR party!
Good luck,
Eric
Congratulations on finishing TX!!!!!!!!!!!! You must be elated. It is people like you that keep me going. It is the new person taking their first shot and the person completing tx that really keeps me going. I have only 7 more wks to go and it is still hard. I can't wait to be done and celebrate life!
Enjoy SVR forever!
TV
Thanks for the well wishes!
It doesn't quite seem real.
Technically I didn't have a RVR because I was <30 at 4 weeks but not undetected but I'll take a VL of 12,500,000 down to <30 in 4 weeks and be happy with it!! But, I can't help but wonder about what that does to MY relapse chances.
I'm a little nervous to see what happens when I stop treatment but I have a good feeling about it.
Thanks again Willy!
Even though I really, really meant my reply I honestly only posted it once. : )

It's great to see you finishing up. I'm sure it was a long treatment (long winter too, eh?) but unlike winters..... this is likely the last of these you'll ever have to do. I had a few moments while cleaning the house today to listen to the latest vertex webcast and I thought that it sounded very promising. It's a "pitch" of course but they say that only about 5% who RVR end up relapsing.....and I'd guess that it may even be before EOT.
They also didn't quantify...... but they seem VERY pleased with the results of Prove 3. As a matter of fact they made a point of mentioning that their latebreaking presentation at EASL will be on that subject.
I hope that you have a rapid recovery from the sides of TX. I'm pretty sure that you've got an SVR in the bag. Thanks for sharing your results as you went thru the trials.
Take care and I can't wait to hear about your and the other Prove 3 results. I also think that it is possible that they may mention preliminary Prove 3 results at EASL since the 24 week trial arms should have SVR results very soon.
Best wishes while you wait........
