From what I have read on the forum, headaches after taking a shot are not uncommon. I get a small one the morning after my shot and it lasts half a day or so.
Some people get chronic sinusitis during tx. This can cause pain around the eyes. If its the usual headache from the meds drink lots of water. That usually helps. I haven't adjusted to the fatigue even after 10 months, but its different for everyone.
I get horrible headaches, sinus that turn into migraines.
They are no fun, and for me anyway the relief for it changes everytime.
Hopefully his energy increases when he ends txt. Not easy I know
Best of luck
Is it just a headache over his eye or is his eye sore and giving him a headache. you can have some eye and vision problems with the TX as I have had some headaches from my eyes. Heaches themselves are also a SX.
I had BAD headaches in the first month of tx. Then it stopped. Now at week 35 I have been getting them everyday. The fatigue for me has been very bad and has not let up.
Not an easy tx. Hopefully will get better....Good Luck. Hang In.
I have the dull headache the day after my shot and maybe the next day too. Its not a migraine its just a dull ache, i usually take advil and that simetimes works, I am in week 29 and i think or at least i hope that my body has adjusted to sides, not to say i dont have them, i just know my limits and usually i can keep things just at bay.
Good luck to you and your husband
peace

It took me until about three months post treatment to get my energy back and I have to say that I am like mysteremeet on this one, I have more energy than I have ever had before because my metabolism seems to have changed post treatment or my bone marrow is working better or something.
On the headache front, I have worse headaches than I have ever had before and they have not let up. Which is weird because I have always had migraines but I didn't get bad headaches at all during treatment. After treatment though, I've had worse headaches than I've ever had before but I think it may be my migraines exacerbated by the iron overload I have from the transfusions I received during treatment.
