Another member of MH, a very strong and enduring woman (lisaob1) posted this on her journal, and I found it very apropos for what many on this forum are facing.  

DONT YOU QUIT

When things go wrong as they sometimes will
When the road you're trudging seems all up hill
When the funds are low
And the debts are high
And you want to smile
But you have to sigh
When care is pressing you down a bit
Rest if you must but
DONT YOU QUIT

Life is strange with its twists and turns
As everyone of us sometimes learns
As many a failure turns about
When you might have won had you stuck it out
Don't give up though the pace seems slow
You just might succeed with another blow

Success is failure turned inside out
The silver tint of the clouds of doubt
And you never can tell how close you are
It may be very near when it seems so far
So stick to the fight when you're hardest hit
It's when things seem worst
THAT YOU MUST NOT QUIT

I like this so much just had to post again, thank you so much for this poem
As I told my husband there is nothing that we can't get through together so we just can't give up.  Thank you again for this poem it is going on my "inspirational wall" along side UND

I stand corrected.  With time, **** tales become fish tales. :)

Yup. That's me. Reduced to stories of campaigns an triumphs from days gone by. I'll be a hoot in the nursing home though. You wait and see. Saran Wrap on the bedpans.... that's a doosie :)
