You certainly had something... Perhaps something bad to eat? LOL!
Anyhow Dav - hang in there until the biopsy - you'll know then if it's imperative that you treat --- or if you have a little bit of time to make a decision.
With your symptoms --- you may not have the worst biopsy - but then - ya never know.
As soon as you know your biopsy then you'll have a better clue of which way to go.
It's kind of a patience thing... Hurry up and wait... yanno?

I think I had a cold that day.....
I-horn is spot on with his comments above. Your symptoms are considered subjective and therefore shouldn’t be considered in the treatment equation. Biopsy results provide objective data, and you’ve probably had this for many years. Another 3-4 weeks will pass soon enough, and the wait won’t significantly affect your health.
Glad to hear you’re taking care of yourself in terms of lifestyle; if you like, run your mouse pointer over I-horn’s name in the post above. His picture reveals in graphic detail what someone looks like that’s HCV infected and “drank and smoked like a mad hatter for ...a long time”. Scary huh ;o)?
Take care, and let us know how things work out—

Stop worrying. No sense in it. Wait to see how your biopsy turns out. That's what tells the tale. If you don't drink or smoke there is a good chance you have zero liver damage. I drank and smoked like a mad hatter for ...a long time and my biopsy was right in the middle of the modified HAI score. Not being a drinker is a BIG plus for you.
