Complicated oral-gential HSV question

Hello.  Thanks for all the amazing advice on this forum.  In September of last year, I had unprotected oral sex (mouth-vagina - I was the giver) with a female sex worker.  Several hours later, I noticed a small bump inside my lower lip.  It healed within about 3 days, but every few weeks, I would notice a new cut or bump inside my lip, cheeks, or mouth.  And, once every month and a half or so, I would have a classic canker sore inside my lip.  I've never had canker sores before.  I've also never had any sores or blisters outside my mouth since the exposure.  I was convinced that this was all in my head, but two months after my exposure with the sex worker, I noticed about 5  small red spots around the base of the head of my penis.  They were painless and unclustered, and healed in about three days (they kind of flaked off - like dry skin).  I thought that maybe I had irritated/chafed this area after masturbation but today (five months after I initially noticed the spots and 7 months since the initial exposure) I have noticed similar spots in the same area around the base of the head of my penis.  My question is... Is it possible that I contracted an oral form of HSV from the sex worker, passed the virus to my partner by giving her oral sex (my mouth to her vagina), and then re-contracted the virus on my penis  from my partner.  I know this sounds unlikely, but I'm having a hard time coming up with other reasons why I might be experiencing the mouth bumps/sores and now the second occurance of red spots on my penis.  Aside from this one indiscretion, I have never been unfaithful to my partner.  Do you think my exposure 7 months ago could account for any of these symptoms?  Thanks!

Yes, this question didn't pop up on my "new post' list.  Sorry about that.
First, herpes doesn't show up in a "several hours" from a sexual encounter, it takes longer than that.  So the fact that it showed up so soon should be factored into the likelihood that this is herpes (likely not).

Have you ever in your life had a cold sore on your mouth?  Have you had any herpes testing done in your lifetime to determine your baseline status?

It is possible that you picked up some other bacteria or virus at this encounter, not sure about that.

The chance that you would transmit it to your partner and then give it back to yourself seems extremely unlikely to me.  Have you had any swab testing or antibody testing done?
