Not herpes symptoms

I had a low risk encounter around 30 days ago. Someone used his hand and his saliva to masturbate me, and also rubbed his penis on mine for less than 10 seconds, and then I stopped it once I realized. That was the extent of it. So, this is likely very low risk for herpes, I believe, correct?

Last Saturday, I noticed some kind of skin discoloration/ irritation. It is hard to describe, but it was like 3 pinkish/slightly shiny streaks of minor irritation. Did not look like pictures of herpes online.

I have not had any classic sign of a herpes outbreak with this occurence, or at any time in my life.

I did not have any tingling prior, there were no classic sacs or fluid filled pimples, they did not erupt with fluid, not did I have any painful sores at any time. They did not crust over. Just cannot explain what this was, which bothers me.

It seemed like as it resolved, it was dry flaky skin. It is almost 100% resolved 6-7 days later.

Having read posts from the doctors and people in this community, my conclusion is that it was a low risk or maybe even no-risk incident and these symptoms are not really consistent with herpes. Is this a reasonable conclusion?

The reason I am asking is that I have also read that sometimes people don't experience classic symptoms or may not have any symptoms at all. Seems like herpes is tricky, and that's why I am asking. I have not gone for testing because it seems there are false positives and negatives and I am not sure I can get reliable results.

Again, those symptoms do not sound anything like herpes to me.  Skin presentations need to be evaluated in person.

Any doctor is bound by HIPAA constraints which demand privacy and are federal laws.  I hope you will reconsider your decision not to see health care for this concern.

When I posted my first question, the 3 marks had basically resolved. About a week later, I have 3 more marks in different spot now. Same thing, a strip about an inch long, slightly shiny light pinkish skin, no itch or pain associated with it. Certainly not what herpes sores look like.

Since this is happening again, does this strengthen the conclusion that this is not herpes because herpes would not recur a week later?

I don't have any other symptoms of an std, like burning when urinating, no discharge. This doesn't really seem like another type of std either, does that sound reasonable?

Could contact dermatitis do this?

Thank you in advance, as I am getting freaked out. I cannot just go to a doctor as privacy is an issue.

I would agree with your conclusions that this was an extremely low risk situation, if any risk at all.  And yes, I also agree that your symptoms are in no way consistent with herpes in any way at all.
While it is true that not everyone experiences typical symptoms with herpes, I think a more common situation is that people do experience symptoms but they don't recognize them as herpes.  But you are looking carefully and report nothing similar to herpes.

While there are some false positive, the represent about 2.7% of those who ever test, so it is pretty low and can be settled most often with another test.  However, I would not suggest that you need testing related to this particular experience.

Hope that is helpful!
