yup. I think you can put this incident behind you.

ok. I just licked it for a few seconds, the nipple was intact and had no lesions. I have not had any cold sores appear. Is 2 months after the incident a pretty accurate test time?
If the nipple was intact and had no lesions, then even if she had herpes on the nipple, which is very doubtful, it would be very unlikely to transfer to your mouth. Remember that I said if a cold sore was present, it could be transferred to the nipple. The mouth would be the place creating enough friction to break the nipple skin, not the reverse.

Thanks
How can it be transferred to the nipple but not from the nipple to the mouth?
No, you wouldn't get herpes from sucking on someone's nipple. Now the reverse might be true - if you had a cold sore on your lip and very aggressively sucked someone's nipple, enough to break the skin, the virus could be transferred to the nipple. But if her nipple was intact, then you have no worries. And no, it can't be transferred from hand to hand contact, such as giving money to someone. I don't believe that you need repeat STD testing, not at all.
