Possible infections

Hey im a 21 year old male who is now extremely scared of sex. I have recieved oral from less than 20 girls and had sex with about six (protected). A week later after protected sex and a few days after oral I got 3 painless, cracks of the skin kinda circular right near the penile opening (all in a row going away from the penile opening). There was also another crack that was in a different spot significantly further away from the other cracks. They were not red, they did not hurt, it did not hurt when i urinated, and were not raised. I could touch them and looking at them it just looks like the thinnest layer of skin was gone (still flesh colored NOT red). They were gone within a couple of days scabed or whatever. I thought nothing of it. I had sex again with a different partner (protected like always) and about a week and a half, more likely two weeks, I got sick. I had congestion and just felt crappy for lack of a better word. This was after my body was run down after having little sleep and doing a fair amount of activity. Also, when I got sick there were not lesions or anything that would signify herpes at all. So, I have some questions about whether or not what might have been the cause of this.

1. Does herpes just cause general sickness without blisters etc?
2. should be I be to concerned about having HSV?
3. If i did contract HSV - 1 on my genitals how likely will it show up again if ever? or will it just move up towards my mouth like oral herpes.
4. with the use of condoms and extremely limited amount of sex ive had, am i a low risk case?

HSV 1 genitally recurs far less often, sheds less and in general, is not problematic like HSV 2.  Do let me know your herpeselect results if you wish, I would be happy to help you interpret them if need be.

When i was sick though I did feel really bad. probably didnt help that i was working with my manager who was way more sick than i was. I also do plan on getting my herpeselect test on monday from my doctor doing it at a quest lab or whatever they are called. that aside in genital HSV - 1 is it really that problamatic like HSV -  2 is? is it going to affect my sex life significantly where im always going to be worrying about spreading it? also does sickness proceed herpes/go along with it always or can it ever manifest itself as an alone kinda thing? Thank you so much for your help, you have been a blessing.

Nope, ive been tested for herpes in general and came up negative about a year and a half ago. this situation happened about six months ago and no sores or anything have shown up again. I was just concerned that those three little circular cut type thingies could have been herpes. I mean of course theres always that IF but you know it really didnt look or feel like anything close to herpes. wow 30 percent is really low haha thats disconcerning (especially knowing how promiscuous alot of my friends are surprising I havnet succumb to that entirely). It just scared me because of online sources and it all happened kinda within the time frame of the sexual activity.

1.  The kind of "sick" that you felt is not the general physical symptoms that people get with new herpes, no.
2.  I don't feel that your risk of having herpes is at all high, no.  However, condoms only reduce the risk of getting herpes by about 30%, so it isn't a perfect answer, though certainly good practice.
3.  If you have genital herpes, and your symptoms don't sound like herpes to me, it would stay on your genitals, not move up to your mouth, no.
4.  You are at low risk, you are not at zero risk.  Herpes can be transmitted from the mouth of a sexual partner to your penis, by receiving oral sex.

have you ever been tested for HSV 1 and 2?  Have you ever in your life had a cold sore?
