About this site

I wish to cancel this membership. How is it done? I was looking for free information. I am unemployed and have no income and cannot pay any fees for information.

Why didn't it state that this was a paid site?

Not sure why you are referring to.  You posted once for help and received some.  You never even posted again to that comment.  This forum only works if you are willing to share and acknowledge those comments.  Often it takes a bit to funnel thru the info to get and give good info.  It is not always handed to you on a silver platter.  I have found people here to be very willing to help, it just may not be on your schedule or what you want to hear or when.

Many of us have been helped immensely--by each other.  That's what this site is for.  There are expert forums and there are community forums.  The expert forums are the only ones that require you to pay to ask your question.  This is because the consultants are actually medical professionals who are willing to use their time to help the community.  This takes them time out of their busy day of doing their regular jobs.  Sometimes you can still get good information if someone else asks a question similar to your own, because you can read the answer provided by the expert.  Therefore, that part is still free.  Members can still post an answer, even if they're not the paid experts.  The expert's answer will always be placed first, so the answer can be found, even if a member has already posted an answer.  I've had experts actually repeat something I said or say something that agrees with what I said, so that gave me confidence that I provided correct information on the subject.  Even though I am just a regular "Jo".  You can actually get really good information in the community forums.  A lot of us don't have a whole lot of money, and sometimes we even can help each other in small areas with suggestions on how to save money in some of the member developed groups.  This site is a great place if you don't have money!

Our forums are free and so is our membership.  There are only certain forums that are pay forums and they are listed under "Ask a Doctor" forums.  If you wish to receive responses from other members please just post a new question in our member support communities:

Hope this helps :)  If you still wish to cancel please private message me and I can assist you.
