New Forum for Dystonia

'Hi, I would like to suggest adding a forum for Dystonia.  If you search Dystonia, you can find some discussions on the condition but It is becoming more common  and should have an easy to find forum of its own.  People suffering with this need help.  It is a dibilitating condtion.  There is no cure but there are some treatments that work ok for some people for instance botox injections.  Please help people with Dystonia by adding it to the forums.  Please.
Thank You

If a member feels strongly about having such a community, they can create a User Group. That is what User Groups are for. If you don't have dystonia yourself, you can still create the group and invite those who have it to join. A forum functions very much like a user group. The usefulness of either a forum or a user group is in direct relation to the members in that group.

Thanks,

What does it take for dystonia to have its own forum?  I myself do not have dysonia.  I just know people who do and they like people with other diseases are looking for help.  I dont know what I would have done if I did not find this forum.   Why would someone need to create a User Group?  Is that the first step in dysonia getting its own forum?

Have you considered creating a User Group?  There are discussions about dystonia in the Neurology and Rare Diseases forums, but if you'd like to start your own group, you can find out how here:

User groups are created, maintained and moderated by our users. You can choose to make this group public or private, and you can then invite the others to join you in this group.
