PARATHYROID disorders ADDED TO thyroid forums

This has been asked before, but under 'thyroid' questions for the doctor and forums, PARATHYROID is not listed.
It is a thyroid/endocrine category.  Hyperparathyroidism, whether primary or secondary really NEEDS to be addressed, there are many of us who have this disease, with hardly any answers or much info to go on.
Dr. Lupo is not listed as a parathyroid doctor.  With this community, can we find a parathyroid specialist that can answer our parathyroid issues/questions?   I have posted questions, and it may be beyond Dr. Lupo's specialty.
Thank you for any consideration for parathyroid disease patients...appreciate it!    ~juli

Thank you kindly for adding parathyroid issues to the thyroid topics!
I  'presume'  my question went to Dr. Lupo already?   I don't know, as I know he's on vacation, and I hadn't received a response from him yet.
Thank you again, this is an insidious disease that not many doctors know about, and it's frustrating a bit to get information...we DO need to have more information/specialists for parathyroid issues.  juli

Hi,

Dr. Lupo replied and he has no problem answering these kind of questions. I've just added it to the topic list and description. Thanks for the suggestion.

Hi,

Dr. Lupo is currently on vacation for the holidays, but as soon as he gets back we'll find out if he is ok fielding these questions. If so, we'll add it to the list of topics. As far as finding a specific specialist, we are constantly seeking out new doctors across all conditions and would certainly set up a forum for parathyroid doctor if we find someone interested.

We'll let you know what Dr. Lupo says.
