First post

Is it possible to have some way to access the first post that someone has posted??  Some have so many posts it is almost impossible to get to their very first post w/o taking an hour to do it.  I am a poster in the addiction:substance abuse board and sometimes it would be nice to see where they started compared to now.  Also, would like to access my first post a bit easier.  Hope I am making sense!  :)

thanks, I knew there was a way besides going page by page!  That is doable.
Appreciate it!!

Hi, littlebit667,

You can go to a member's profile page and click on the "See All" link and then page backwards till you get to the first post.  There's also another, more complicated method that brings you directly to a member's first post:

1. Note the total number of posts listed in the Posts widget on a member's profile page.  For example, your number of posts is 1701.
2. Divide this number by 10.  For example, dividing your total by 10 would be 170.
3. Click "See All" in the upper right corner of the member's Posts widget.
4. Go to the second page.
5. In the address shown in your browser's address bar, change the portion that says "page=2" to show the value you got in step 2.  For example, yours would be http://www.medhelp.org/user_posts/list/1801781?page=170
6. Hit the "Enter" key.  You should now see the page containing the member's first post.

As I said, it's a little complicated, but doable.

Go into your profile and you will have to click page by page to get to the end.

All you can do I guess is to go through their pages of posts. It might take a while, but I know my posting had definitely changed from October 2011. I am more educated now than I was then. My grammar had gotten better too :D

It's interesting to see but I reckon! People rack up over 10,000 posts over their time here. This is number 171 and I have about 8 or 9 pages of posts.

There's the hard way. '_'
