Why are so many EXPERT forums closed?

I keep asking this and have not received a response. Our breast cancer community does what it can to help people who ask questions there but they really need to be able to ask the doctors.

So, I'm asking all of you, why are our Doctors no longer answering questions on the expert forum for breast cancer and so many other forums?

We need them here on this site. People come here for help from the experts. We rely on them.

If you - or any other member - knows a great doctor, we'd love to hear from you.  We have found many of our Experts from member referrals and from members just introducing their doctors to MedHelp.  

We greatly appreciate any help.  :)

Hi there -

My apologies for not following up on your questions.

Generally speaking, we don't have experts in those forums for many reasons - for some, it ends up taking too much time, their practices may become too demanding for them to spend time online, etc.  We are working very hard to replace all of them.
