improving poll function

Is it possible to create a poll that allows the respondent to answer multiple times to the same question?

For example, yesterday I created a new poll in the MS forum, asking the members which risk factors for MS apply to them.

Since multiple risk factors usually apply, I thought the members could check off as many as they liked.  However the poll forces one answer only, which in this scenario is incomplete.

Please advise if this can be corrected, and I can then re-post this poll for more accurarte results.

Or if this capability already exists and I am doing something wrong, please advise!

I too had the same problem.  I think allowing more choices is significant to the polling process in many areas on the site.

Thank you

Thanks for the suggestion. The polls feature wasn't designed to be used in the fashion that you're referring to. Most polls only allow you to choose one out of many options. If there is a lot of demand for such a feature, we'll definitely consider it. If others need polls to allow you to select multiple options, please leave a note below.

Thanks,

ps: can you also allow for up to 12 responses.  8 choices often isn't enough.  Thanks
