I know I need to ask my dr.

But was wondering if youbladies would know...
would I have to take hormone replacements becauseb of the hysterectomy? I still have my ovaries.... or is that just for a complete? So new to me and having a hard time with it now.
in kinda angry that I can't have more babies. ( thankful to be alive and the 4 amazing babies I have) but a part of me feels I wasnt done.. now aside from a surrogate mother or adoption i can't. God im sounding so selfish right now... im sorry..

Do you still bleed after a c section? I know that's probably a dumb question. And does your vajajay still hurt?

No meds. The ovaries do all the work.  You are good there. I understand that anger. I get an entire pregnancy plus to come to terms that this next one will be my last. I've felt the same way and still kindado. You didn't get time to accept it before it happened. I don't know what your number of kids was...mine was 3 that I wanted and that choice is taken away unless we adopt. It's one thing to have the CHOICE to not have more kids, but its totally another when that choice is taken away. As for babyD, yay! Way to go little man! We are rooting for you!

I cant help but feel angry. I have to go to the dr on monday and I honestly dont want to see him. Like I said. Im thankful im alive and well. And I know he did all he could to stop the bleeding but im mad.
I hope ibdont have to take hormone replacements.  So does this mark the start of menopause for me? Ot does that come later in life since ive got the ovaries? Im confused and reading too much. I had a melt down and snapped at my honey ( we made up tho ).
I feel like my world is in shambles.
On a happier note. Degan is doing wonderfully. He is now off of breathing machienes but now on O2 just to make sure hes getting enough. Vitals are outstanding and his latch is getting better. All good news. And hes keeping weight on! :) its good to be home. My twins are all over the place lol in to everything they can reach. And my oldest son is just amazing. His grades are going up. The medication hes taking is working!

Usually if you still have your ovaries you don't need hormone replacement therapy. I believe it's your ovaries that produce certain hormones. As for sounding selfish, you don't. I think most women would feel the same way. It's different when you make the choice to be done having children but now that decision is no longer yours and that can be devastating no matter how many children you have.

First of all, you don't sound selfish AT ALL!!!!!! What you're feeling is very understandable and reasonable. A hysterectomy is a very personal choice and you don't get to make that choice. Yes, you are lucky to be alive, lucky to have 4 beautiful babies, and totally 100% entitled to feel sad about not being able to have more. It wasn't even like you had time to mentally prepare and process so it's completely natural that you'd be going through that now. As for the hormones I know for sure you would have to go on them for a complete hysterectomy. I have heard stories from women who have gone on very light dosages of hormone replacements after a partial but I think it just all depends on how it affects you. I also think you'll still have monthly cycles for a while but without the bleeding. Just cramps, moodiness, that kind of thing
