I have a Kodak Easyshare for my digital photos which is kind of like a "camera for dummies" but my 3 year old loves taking photos and is becoming amazing at it and it's a good camera that is cheap and that is a good thing because I broke our last one (I'm very clumsy and seem to get distracted by lots of stuff whereas my 3 year old has never dropped it and takes amazing care of it... maybe I should get her a better model).

Things that interest me are nature.  Mountains, not that I live near any, though there are hills and lakes.  I also love stars and would love to buy a tripod one day (saving though will be awhile off) and photograph the stars at night.  Got a shaky shot of the beach and full moon during a vacation but would have loved to have done it with a tripod and had it not shaky.  My daughter loves taking photos of things in her every day life and zooming in on interesting angles.  She got a picture awhile back of the sun appearing between two evergreen trees in our backyard.  and then more mundane things like the stop signs in our neighborhood (she has an obsession with stop signs) and food on her dinner plate and random people.  She also loves to take photos of flowers and our garden.

I used to have a brilliant camera a Minolta 8000i the photos were a rork of Art it cost a lot of money, but it broke in a few places,I had dragged it round on Travels to Hot climes and some parts almost melted, it needed a new body, and 2 lenses that cost more than the body had 'Mould ' I took it to several experts, but it wasnt worth saving, so I let a Japanese camera fanatic have it as he wanted to restore it, I am sure he did. I now have a small minolta digital and I truly dont think I enjoy it half as much, I still have my 'eye' for Photography but have waned in inclination, perhaps this Group will tease it back ....

Thanks. I've been on a few other websites uploading my photos. I still have my Sony Cybershot. It is still kind of broken, but giving it a slight shake ever so often seems to temporary fix the motor. (figures.) I've been playing around with a variety of things. I made a diffuser for my flash. Recently I've been trying to catch insects and birds in flight. I've also been trying more people shots.

Still my main interest is nature. Living in a city, I don't quite get the nice scenic photos I want, but lately I've been trying to shoot what I see. In the process I've found just how beautiful a neighborhood in a city can be.
