Constant headache lately, not usually prone

Hi, I am 34 and have had a constant dull  headache that comes and goes during the for the past week, on the right side of my head.  I have been stressed out about finding a new job lately, so I don't know if that may be the reason.  However, I am not prone to headaches and never have been.,  I am kind of a hypocondriac and of course and concerned that I have a brain tumor or an anueyrism.  When I take advil, it does take the pain away, but then it will come back later in the day.  Should I go see my doctor?  What do you suppose is going on???  Thanks

Hi,

Stress results in spasm of scalp muscles resulting in tension headache which seems to be a likely cause in your case.
I would suggest you to get a scalp massage done as it will relieve tension in the muscles, do some deep breathing exercises everyday and also make sure to drink plenty of water and eat your meals on time.

Keep us posted.

it could be stress, but you should see your doctor.  this happened to me when i was 30.  And now I'm 32 and it is still ongoing.  i wast worried about the same things and i went to the doctor who said it was tension headaches.  however, I feel like she dismissed my symptoms so I will be seeing a doctor again.  although my symptoms have continued for 2 years, they have not gotten worse.
