No, I have absolutely no history of any type of continuous or continual migraines.
They started just a few weeks ago, and happen completely at random. I tried to find some similarities but the temperature has nothing to do with it, my mood doesn't either.
They just happen.
Neuralgia, I look into that.
Thanks, hopefully I can figure something out.
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Severe stabbing headache which comes out of nowhere and last for a short period of time raises the suspicion of ice pick headaches. These headaches are usually seen in patients prone to migraine.
Do you have a history of migraine attacks?
Have you been able to identify a trigger for these headaches?
Excruciating headaches can also result in nose bleeds. Indomethacin works very well in ice pick headaches. I would suggest you to consult your PCP about it. Another possibility to consider is neuralgia.
Hope this helps!
