constant headaches, wont go away..

for over a week now iv had a constant headache. its basically there all the time. iv been taking paracetamol and ibuprofen but they do absoluetely nothing and i think i better stop taking them now or they will be contributing to giving me a headache. the pains pretty bad and makes me feel abit sick and ill. i dont know what else i can do to make it go away. what can cause headaches for so long? i dont know if its stress coz i think i wake up ok and then as soon as i get up it starts hurting again, but iv never had this, like this before. nothing makes it worse but nothing makes it better.

“I’ve had migraine headaches since I was in elementary school. I was going to the doctor four, sometimes five times a month and having to get shots to get rid of these headaches because Ibuprofen, Darvocet, nothing worked to get rid of them. Dr. Cartwright put me on NeuroBoost and when I saw what was in it I thought, well, this won’t work at all, but it couldn’t hurt, so I’ll take them…I haven’t had a headache at all this month.”

Joann Stumberg

Neuro-Boost can br found online. When living with headaches and migraines, even simple pleasures can be intolerable, and nothing seems to help. That’s why Dr. Cartwright formulated this revolutionary nutritional breakthrough, NeuroBoost.

Hi,
Thank you for your update.  Aside from blood tests, imaging modalities like MRI or Ct scan may also help rule out any brain pathology. If it is in one side of the head, this can be from migraine headache, which present with one-sided throbbing headaches. Rest, ice packs and identification of the triggers may help. Take care and hope top hear from you soon.

my heads still  been bad. no trauma to head or neck, but i do get muscle pain in my neck when i get stressed and its been particularly bad lately, but my heads never been like this before. its more in the sides of my head i think, not around my eyes. it doesnt last hours, it basically lasts all day every day except it gets slightly better at times, then gets worse again. im going to the docs but i dont know what she can do if my bloods were normal.

Hi,
How are you? Was there a previous trauma to your head or neck? You are right in stopping over-the-counter pain relievers because these can lead to rebound headaches. Cluster headaches may present with pain in he vicinity of the eye and frequently develops during sleep and may last for several hours. Attacks occur every day for weeks then disappear Have this checked by your doctor for proper evaluation. prescription medications may be indicated. Take care and do keep us posted.
