Also be sure to cut out all artificial sweeteners including mouthwash that contain any form of saccharin.
Hi and welcome to the Migraine and Headaches Community.
I don't think it has to do with WHEN you eat but, rather, WHAT you eat. There are many different triggers but the thing is that each person has their own triggers and what triggers me might not trigger you. And what triggers you now might not trigger you later. My advice is to keep a journal. Write down what you eat each day and then when you get a migraine, and then rate your pain on a scale of 1-10, see if you find a pattern.
Here is a list of the most common triggers (Remember this is not a complete least, just some of the common ones.):
Physical exertion or activity
Stress
Hormonal changes
Skipping meals
Sleep disturbances and sleeping late
Weather changes
Perfume or odor
Neck pain
Lights
Alcohol
Smoke
Heat
Food/diet
Good luck and keep us posted.
