No, she didn't prescribe anything for me. I am going to give it another week and get a follow-up done. It may be stress from work and I also started taking on-line classes so I come home from work and do those and don't really have time for anything else. I just don't know! :(
Hi,
Were you prescribed anything for the pain?
If the symptoms persist despite taking medications then you may need to get a follow up consultation for further evaluation. Note any possible triggers that may be causing
the headaches. Avoid prolonged computer use, extreme heat, alcoholic beverages, and vigorous exercises.Observe if this will improve your symptoms.
Well the doctor didn't find anything but my head still hurts. If this persists in the next couple of weeks, I am getting a second opinion.
Thank you for your comment Vanessa! I am going to see the doctor tomorrow afternoon so hopefully I will find out what the problem is!
Hi,
The head has a lot of pain receptors that signal any painful stimuli to be processed by the brain as pain.If this is a case of migraine or tension headache, pain receptors are all the more made sensitive. This may not sound like an urgent case. But an initial visit with your primary physician for a complete physical examination may help.
