Hi, Hope you are doing better now? Has your headache decreased and did you meet up your doctor. These headaches might also be due to a migraine or tension, which is usually aggravated by stress, which is quite common following delivery. You can consult your doctor if it severe and disturbing to extent you are not able to take of your baby. Relaxation exercises, massage therapy can be comforting. Listening to soft music, calm room and warm shower can be soothing. Do keep a note of your blood pressure readings. Keep posting your thoughts and take care.
Hi, How are you feeling now? You need to check the blood pressure level. Did you have a epidural anesthesia? Headaches might be due to change in intracranial tension. Are there any other associated symptoms like blurring of vision, vomiting, giddiness etc? Acetaminophen can be helpful in relieving pain and do not take any medication without consulting your doctor. You need to consult your doctor and get examined. Keep posting on your progress. Take care.
If you had an epideral during the birthing process, the anesthesiologist may have "nicked" your spinal cord. It could be inflamed. This happens often enough and it should resolve itself as the inflamation subsides. I would contact your PCP if you are not getting relief at your post pardum appointment with your OB. You may want to just take an anti inflamatory to help with the recovery process.
