Dull pain above left eye

I recently started getting migraines. About 2 months ago I got my second migraine ever. I went to the emergency room because I also had strange sensations all over my body and my sister worried I had a minor stroke because I do smoke. They gave me a CT scan and did blood tests. I didn't have any tumors or lesions in my head and nothing indicated that I had a stroke. The blood work all game back normal as well. Ever since I've had dull pain right above my left eye where my eyebrow begins. It's not constant. It seems like it randomly throbs. Sometimes only once and other times it throbs for a few minutes then goes away. It's always in the same spot. Sometime this turns into a headache only on the left side of my head with sensitivity to light and sometimes nausea. I understand what a migraine feels like and I do get them but what I don't understand is why I always get that random pain above my eye. I'm not sure what it could be. I also have very random minor symptoms that don't seem to fit together. They are kind of hard to pinpoint. I still get odd sensations sometimes. The doctor said they are anxiety related.

Ello,
I am experiencing almost the exact same symptoms, too.  I am been diagnosed with migraines in July and I'm only getting to know what my triggers are.  I was prescribed lexapro and midrin.  So far I still get the random throbbing in the area above my left eye.  I also have tingling sensations that crawl up and down the back of my head.  I also have random throbs on the temporal and parietal regions of my head.  I find that all of this happens before and after a storm.  It gets worse around my period.  I'm still in the middle of trying to find out what's really wrong with me.  I hope that your search ends soon, too.

I often have the same thing about a day before I get a migraine. I feel really bad the whole day, and wake up with pain. I also have it happen when I am under stress or not getting enough rest. I have just learned to drink water (lots) and rest. Hope it helps
