Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
It is very important to rule out diabetes and other causes of numbness like B12 deficiency. I would suggest you to do some neck and back exercises and make sure you have a good posture while standing, and sitting.
Also learn some self relaxation techniques like breathing exercises and meditation.
Hope this information will help you.
Thankyou for taking time to reply.
I was very anxious when it happened which made it worse. It is alot better now but has left me with a sore scalp- very painful condition.
With this i also have had for some time horrendous neck & shoulder pain...I have a soft lump around C7/T1 which my doctor said was fatty tissue (she did say a name for it but i have forgot it) & i get tingling in my back & a numb bum & sicatic pain in my r leg- is this all conncted?
I did think neuralgias as i have had the occasional pains but though they may be due to anxiety and or my painful neck.
Thank You x
Hi,
Thanks for writing in.
Sore burning scalp raises the suspicion of tension headaches, anxiety, neuralgias, and contact dermatitis, allergies to shampoos and conditioners and scalp infection.
I would suggest you to take OTC pain killers and apply cold compresses on the affected part. If the symptoms do not subside please consult your PCP and undergo complete clinical evaluation.
Take care!
