Hi,
The blurred vision due to brain tumor can be constant or transient depending on the size of tumor and location.
Usually there are other vision problems also like double vision or loss of peripheral vision.
Hope this helps!
well ihad some bloodwork done but i dont know what cn be told from that because they came back normal. another thing how severe is this blurry vision and is it constant or comes and goes?? i wear glasses thats why i was asking. also my eyes sometimes hurt as well.
Hi,
How are you?
Your symptoms of headache which is dull in nature and gets worse on lying down raises the suspicion of headache due to sinusitis.
Headache due to sinusitis is a dull pressure headache which gets worse on lying down.
However other possibilities like aneurysms and brain tumors cannot be ruled out completely. Although a brain tumor generally will produce other neurological symptoms as well like blurry vision, muscle weakness etc.
Hope this helps!
one more thing i do have a tender spot when i touch it it hurts if its even relevant.
here the thing my sleeping habits have changed and ive also been on metronidazole and one of te side effects are headaches is it probable that this might be the cause ??? also my eating habits have not been constant and lastly i stoped working out and gained about 20lbs in a period of about 4 months. i dont have blurry vision only when i emeber the symptoms but sometimes my eyes do hurt. also another thing is that i always had a double shot expresso almost every morning before class could there also be a correlation here?? and lastly i do have difficulty waking up and im not as dynamic as i used to be. thank you dr. i promise this will be my last question.
Hi,
How are you?
Cluster headaches are one sided headaches, since this headache is moving all across the head it is unlikely to be one.
Other possibility can be tension headache which is felt like a tight band around the head and is dull in nature.
Sinusitis also cannot be ruled out. Headache due to brain tumor is usually accompanied by other neurological symptoms like dizziness, blurry vision etc.
I would suggest you to take OTC pain killer for pain and lie in a quiet dark room. Maintain hydration and make sure your blood sugar levels do not drop. If your headache does not get better please get yourself clinically evaluated. Take care!
