NEVER ENDING HEAD PRESSURE !!!!!

I am 30 years old, male. For over 2 years I've had constant "head pressure".  Based on all the research I've done, my symptoms probably most closely math "new daily onset headache", with no history of headache I develop a tension-like head pressure, frontal yet diffuse in that it also feels very deep into the center of my head.  There feels like alot of tension in my forehead (hard to raise eyebrows) and tension in eye movements (left to right).  I also frequently have morning headache, a different kind of "headache on top of a headache" with migraine like feature, throbbing, photophobia.  The morning headaches respond well to ibuprofin but the dull "head pressure" has not responded in the least to any 8 prescription drugs including narcotics.

Often, in a "syncope-like pattern", I feel the pressure increase and throbbing in my head upon standing, the same head pressure I always feel, and frequently my hearing fades as this happens (as if I am under water).  It is almost as if this same pressure I always feel follows the same pattern you would expect of syncope-upon standing and the pressure "spreads" down inside my head to my ears and "sucks away" my hearing.   But this increase in symptoms returns to base line in maybe 40 seconds after standing, similar to syncope.  I also sometimes notice an increase in pressure in my nose and often vertigo when laying down.

MRI, MRA, MRV, CT, EEG, labs all normal. Deviated septum and redness in nasal mucosa recognized by ENT and surgery offered, but this seems such a longshot (of note however heavy dose antibiotics very slightly improved redness and head pressure).  Out of money, out of options, please please help.

I am in same boat. headaches began 3.5 years ago. constant. never goes away. meds don't help. workup included non-contrast mri, labs and spinal tap.opening pressure was normal. a bit of a "champagne tap." i was certain the pressure was going to be high. the normal pressure in the spinal cord does not necessarily mean the pressure is also normal in the head. it is my understanding chiari syndrome can block the outflow of csf, so the cord may be normal. if i could have a shunt to relieve the pressure i would. not sure if the contrast mri would add anything but i am afraid of mri's and the Gadnolinium. i have an untreated broken upper bicuspid with a recurring "boil." not sure if this is related. wish i had insurance but cannot afford it after obomacare. my premiums went from 500 a month to 750 so i had to cancel it.

Hi,
Deviated septum can cause persistent headaches. Did he check you for acute sinusitis? Usually steam inhalation helps.

hey shag, I am going through something similar, and I would suggest that you get a spinal tap to check your cerebral spinal fluid. It sounds like to me that this pressure could be from excess fluid in your brain. I would have them use contrast if they have not yet done so with the other tests. They may have missed it.
